SWEDISH MEAT AND LEEK MEATBALLS WITH RICE

INGREDIENTS

  • – Minced meat​ 500 g
  • – Leek 12 items
  • – Recent bread crumbs 200 g
  • – Eggs​4 items
  • – Salt and pepper​ C/N​
  • – Cardamom
  • Salsa:
  • – Caramelized onion 3 items
  • – Sizzling meat c/n
  • – Salt, pepper and nutmeg
  • – Crema c/n
  • – Rice 1 cup lengthy positive
  • – Meat broth 2 cups
  • – Laurel 1
  • – Garlic 1 clove
  • – Canned chickpea 1 unit
  • – Paprika 1 tbsp
  • – Butter 1 tbsp
  • – Honey 1 tbsp
  • – Additional chopped parsley

SWEDISH MEAT AND LEEK MEATBALLS WITH RICE

PROCEDURE:

1. Lower the leeks into 1 to 2 cm rounds.
2. Cook dinner the leeks in a pan with 1 tablespoon of butter till they’re very comfortable.
3. Course of the cooked leeks and blend in a bowl with the minced meat, eggs, bread, salt and pepper.
4. Assemble the meatballs and place within the fridge for half an hour.
5. Brown the meatballs in a frying pan with a bit of oil and butter on all sides, golden brown.
6. For the sauce, in a frying pan or pot, place the onion with salt and a bit of oil and prepare dinner over low warmth till properly caramelized. Add the broth and browned meat. Cook dinner for a couple of minutes and on the finish add the cream.
7. For the rice, season with garlic, bay leaf and add the broth. Cowl and let it prepare dinner till prepared.
8. For the canned chickpeas, drain and sauté in a frying pan till golden brown. Season with paprika, salt and honey.
9. For the plating, place the rice, the meatballs and the chickpeas with chopped parsley on prime.
