QUINOA FLAN

INGREDIENTS

  • – Eggs 8 models.
  • – Sugar 300 g.
  • – Vanilla essence 1 cdita.
  • – Milk 1 L.
  • – Quinoa 200 g.
  • -Zest of ½ lemon.
  • – Sugar to caramelize the mould 200 g.
  • Quinoa popcorn:
  • – Quinoa ½ cup.
  • Further:
  • – Caramel sauce.
  • – Whipped cream.

PROCEDURE:
1. Caramelize a 20 cm diameter flan mould.
2. Wash the quinoa in a bowl, protecting it with water and rubbing it just a little.
Change the water 5 to 7 occasions till it is extremely clear.
3. Drain and boil for 10 minutes.
4. Beat the eggs with the sugar simply till combined, add the vanilla essence and the zest of ½ lemon.
5. Combine the quinoa and milk.
6. Place it within the caramelized flanner.
7. Cook dinner it in a bain-marie, in a low oven (120ºc) till you see that the floor, if you transfer it just a little, has the consistency of flan. It will take you between 50 minutes and 1 hour.
8. Wash very properly and let the quina dry utterly on absorbent paper. When it’s dry, place in a pot or pan, stir with the spoon, for five minutes and little by little they modify the location and start to leap.
