INGREDIENTS
- For the mass:
- – 175 g of widespread flour
- – 1 tbsp sugar
- – 1 pinch of salt
- – 100 g chilly butter, reduce into cubes
- – 2-3 tablespoons of ice water
- For the filling:
- – 700 g of plums (or pears, peaches, blueberries, apple, and many others.)
- – 2 tbsp cornstarch
- – 1/2 cup of sugar
- – 2 tbsp lemon juice
We have now the perfect recipe for immediately: PLUM CAKE with ice cream very simple to make.
PROCEDURE:
1. For the dough: in a bowl, sand the flour, sugar, salt and butter.
2. Add ice water little by little till the dough varieties. Don’t over-knead. Place within the fridge with plastic wrap for not less than Half-hour.
3. For the filling: in one other bowl, combine the fruits, cornstarch, sugar and lemon juice. Reserve.
4. Preheat the oven to 190 levels. Stretch the dough between 2 items of parchment paper (or on the counter with a bit of flour) forming a circle. Place the fruit combination within the center, leaving about 5 cm. edge. Fold the perimeters over the filling, forming folds.
5. Brush the perimeters with overwhelmed egg and sprinkle with sugar.
6. Bake for 25-Half-hour, or till the filling begins to bubble and the perimeters flip golden.
7. Let cool barely and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
