Lemon flan squares

INGREDIENTS

  • Base:
  • Butter 200 grs
  • Flour 0000 270 grs
  • Sugar 85 grams
  • Salt 1 pinch
  • Stuffed:
  • Egg 6
  • Sugar 300 grams
  • Lemon juice 1 cup
  • Lemon zest 1 and ½
  • Flour 0000 270 grs
  • Extras:
  • powdered sugar

For the bottom, in a bowl, beat the butter with sugar and salt till creamy. Add the self-rising flour and combine.

Place the dough on a greased baking sheet lined with buttered parchment paper. Unfold the dough together with your palms, masking your entire size of the roasting pan. Ship to medium oven for 10 minutes.

For the lemon cream, place the eggs in a bowl together with the sugar, lemon zest and juice, and flour. Combine nicely.

To assemble, pour the cream over the dough and bake in a medium oven for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Minimize into squares.
