ITALIAN FRIED CAKES

INGREDIENTS

  • Time:
  • – Flour 300 g.
  • – Sugar 50 g.
  • – Butter 20 g.
  • – Salt 1 pinch.
  • – White wine 3 tbsp.
  • – Egg 2 models.
  • – Lemon or orange zest.
  • Syrup:
  • – Honey 100 g.
  • – Sugar 100 g.
  • – Water 100 cc.
  • – Orange juice 50 cc.
  • -Zest of 1 orange.

PROCEDURE:
1. For the dough, place the flour in a bowl.
2. Add sugar, salt, lemon or orange zest, butter, white wine, eggs and begin ingesting little by little.
3. Knead till you get a dough, let it relaxation.
4. Roll out very skinny and minimize rectangles of about 10 cm x 3 cm and minimize within the middle, flip.
5. Fry in sizzling oil
6. In the meantime, make a syrup by mixing water, sugar, honey, zest and orange juice.
7. Boil for 3 to five minutes and let cool.
