INVERTED ONION CAKE

INGREDIENTS

  • – Small purple to white onions 1 kg.
  • – Sugar 2 tbsp.
  • – Butter 50 g.
  • – Thyme 2 tbsp.
  • – Grated mozarella 100 g.
  • Time:
  • – Flour 0000 300 g.
  • – Butter 200 g.
  • – Sardinian queso or reggianito 100 g.
  • – Water c/n.

INVERTED ONION CAKE with do-it-yourself dough! And few substances that resolve the menu

PROCEDURE:
1. Peel and lower the onions in half.
2. Warmth a frying pan that may go within the oven and add a tablespoon of butter, a tablespoon of sugar and thyme.
3. Add the onions, season with salt and pepper and add the remainder of the butter, sugar and thyme. Prepare dinner till golden brown.
4. Bake for 20 minutes at 180ºC till cooked.
5. Take away from the oven and add mozzarella cheese and the pie topping on prime of the onions.
6. Bake for half-hour at 180ºC.
7. Watch for it to chill and switch the cake over onto a plate.
8. For the dough, sand the flour with the chilly cubed butter and grated cheese.
9. Add water if vital and season with pepper. Take with out kneading and reserve within the fridge, coated.
10. Stretch to the scale of the pan.
