INVERTED CAKE OF STUFFED TOMATOES

INGREDIENTS

  • For the mass:
  • – Flour 300 g.
  • – Butter 150 g.
  • – Chilly water c/n.
  • – Nice salt.
  • For the filling:
  • – Spherical tomatoes c/n (relying on the scale of the pan).
  • – Olive oil.
  • – Ricotta.
  • – Semi-hard cheese.
  • – Queso sardo or reggianito rallado.
  • – Chopped parsley.
  • – Basil.
  • – Pepper.

We share the recipe for this inverted stuffed tomato cake that comes out spectacular! With home made dough, filled with ricotta and cheese.

PROCEDURE:

1. For the dough: sand along with the chilly butter and flour. Add salt and water till you get hold of a dough with out kneading an excessive amount of. Let it relaxation within the fridge for about 20 minutes.
2. Stretch roughly 3 mm and canopy the pan. Unfold the dough with a bit melted butter. It should be oven protected (it must have a steel deal with) and if not you may as well use a dish or cake pan that isn’t very massive.
3. Take the tomatoes minimize the highest.
