That is truly a French recipe – they’re referred to as Gougères-, however they’re really easy to make and so scrumptious that we’re going to borrow it.

- 250 milliliters (1 / 4 of a liter) of milk.
- 100 grams of butter.
- 5 grams of salt.
- 150 grams of flour.
- 4 eggs.
- 50 grams of Gruyere cheese (you may also use any grated cheese you’ve got readily available).
Preparation
- Boil the milk with the butter and salt in a pot
- Add the flour and stir the combination for about 5 minutes over low warmth, till it separates from the underside.
- Let the combination cool and add the eggs one after the other, whereas mixing with a wood spoon.
- Lower the cheese into small cubes and add them to the dough.
- Make balls (you should use a spoon) and place them in a beforehand greased roasting pan.
- Paint the balls with egg yolk, sprinkle them with grated cheese and place them within the preheated oven at medium temperature for about 20 to 25 minutes.
